Rates:

All prices are for double spaced pages, approximately 255 words per page, and include return shipping. Prices are doubled for single spaced typed pages, and a 75% surcharge will be applied to all handwritten manuscripts.

Critiques:
Critiques analyze overall plot, character development, dialogue, grammar, and any trends or recurring problems. It will also cite specific instances in the text with suggestions for improvement. A critique is a letter written to discuss the entire work. It will not mark your manuscript, unless that is requested. A 400 page manuscript would earn a minimum of a six page letter.

Check or money order made out to The Sounding Board should accompany all critique submissions.

Average turnaround time: 2-3 weeks

Rush Jobs: two weeks = +15% one week = +20%
