All prices are for double spaced pages, approximately 255 words per page, and include return shipping. Prices are doubled for single spaced typed pages, and a 75% surcharge will be applied to all handwritten manuscripts.

Line Edit:
Line Edits analyze overall plot, character development, dialogue, grammar, and any trends or recurring problems. It will also cite specific instances in the text with suggestions for improvement in detail, on the manuscript pages directly. It also corrects punctuation, spelling and format problems. Includes short letter.

If a partial manuscript is line edited by The Sounding Board, and later the remainder is submitted, the cost per page will resume where the previous line edit left off. If later the entire manuscript is submitted, the pages which were previously edited will be lightly edited a second time at a reduced rate, and subsequent pages will be subject to the normal cost. Payment in the form of check or money order for 50% of the total made out to The Sounding Board due upon receipt of manuscript. The second half of payment is due after the author's review of the edited manuscript.

Rush Jobs: two weeks = +15% one week = +20%
